The following testimonies have been written by ACT team members over the last few years:

“While I went on the missionary trip with a heart to do my best to give and help the children, I was very thankful I was blessed in this ministry in return. The children were absolutely beautiful; it gave me a lot of joy to see them smile and look contented. I remember there was one night some of the older kids called out from their dormitory to say 'hello' to me, I shouted over the balcony 'I love you all!', and I was most amazed at the answer when they happily replied "Jesus loves you! Jesus loves you!" Joy just filled my heart; it was like I had the privilege to take a glimpse into God's glory in heaven. It is the evidence that the seeds sown by workers in the past are nurtured by God and it is all under His control.” – sister Lisa.

“One afternoon, while a brother (a church elder) was going around praying for the little children playing in the hall and anointing their foreheads with olive oil, an eighteen year-old carer asked me what he was doing. I told her that he was blessing the little kids. She put up her hand without any hesitation and said loudly that she wanted the blessings as well. I invited her to come to my room in the evening after her duty. My roommate and I shared the gospel with her and she accepted the Lord there and then. She told us that her good friend who came to the Lord during our last trip would sometimes have bible studies with her. Thank God for the seeds sowed.” – sister Jenny.

“It was a fruitful trip and with new experiences. Living in a city like Singapore, it was hard to imagine what a farmer’s life was. I was thankful for the weeding experience. It helped to bring clarity about spiritual growth. The weed is like our sins; needing to be removed in order to grow healthy crops. Some weeds are really rooted into the ground and are hard to pull out. Using the right tools also helps to make the work easier. Our tools in our spiritual lives are God’s word and prayer. The field was very big and it seemed to take forever to finish. … This made me think of the spreading of the gospel. We may not finish the job this time but another batch of people will come and take over. We need labourers in the field. We have to pray for more labourers.” – a sister from Singapore.
